Im sorry to report that when i visited the well reputed kilmacolm golf club i found the experience to be less of what i expected. The memebers themselves were rude and obnoxious snobs and to be honest the course itself was not in great condition. I am glad i went only as i know not to return in the future.

Reply to Grahame Anderson. Not sure which Kilmacolm Golf club you visited, but I have been as a guest and found the experience a pleasure. Great course and friendly folk. You must have been a hacker or rude yourself.

Kilmacolm is a rugged moorland course set in scenic Renfrewshire countryside. The course is designed by James Braid and is not unlike his more famous work, Gleneagles. It is a short yet demanding course and the golfer is made to think his way round. The driver is not always the best option off the tee. When the wind blows , which it often does , this course will test even the most skilled of golfer.
