Views fabulous and decent track. Clubhouse very nicely situated. Some substantial changes in elevation on some holes and the odd blind tee shot. Worth a visit.

My son Luke aged 15 and I played Kingussie Golf Club at Easter this year
(2002) and found it an excellent challenge of golf in superb picturesque
    surroundings.
I have played golf in many parts of the country and also abroad, and I could
only relate this course to one in South Africa below table top mountain.
The scenery is second to none and the course itself is in fantastic
    condition.
I personally play off a handicap of 6 and hail from South Wales where the
country side is very pretty, and the golf courses are also a challenge.
But Scotland can be proud of this jewel in the heart of it's country and
should advertise it more, as "This truly is a special place"
I have been holidaying in Scotland for many years and have played many of
it's fine golf courses, but this one I will return to as often as possible.
Although the club has no professional the secretary more than makes up for
this, and the greens staff and club house staff give you a welcome which
    they can be proud of.
If my memory serves me correctly, a Mr Brian Gunn was club champion here 28
times, he must have been a remarkable player as this truly is a remarkable
    course.
All the very best for the future to Kingussie Golf Club and all it's staff.

        Hello Paul,
I share your love and admiration of Kingussie Golf Club.
I won a stableford competition there, some 10 years ago with 39 points.
The name of the Club Champion 28 times is in fact John Gunn.
        Cheers.
        Paul.

    Hi
I had a party of six 14 year olds and two adults at Kingussie on Sunday past. We were extended a warm welcome from your club and the food at lunch time was excellent.
The course was superb and challenging and one of our boys managed a gross 73.
It is a pleasure to know that there are places in Scotland where young up and coming golfers are made welcome, at a price they can afford, and where they can play golf on quality courses like Newtonmore and Kingussie.
Congratulations on your friendly attitude and your excellent course.
    We will be back.
Dr. Ronnie Graham , (Western Gailes Golf Club)

Kingussie golf course has to be one of Scotland's best kept treasure in golfing terms.
The course is set in the most beautiful surroundings anyone could ever ask for, with the breath taking Cairngorms only a few miles to the west of the course. Each hole has views that would be fit for any postcard advertising the beauty of Scotland.
The course is kept in almost championship condition by Michael Clarke and his green-keeping staff all year round, and lives up to all the expectations of a tremendous course, certainly all the times I have visited it throughout the years.
The course is filled with challenging holes throughout, with both some long holes and also some very short. Each hole provides its own challenge that makes you intrigued to see what the next hole is going to give. The course is quite hilly in the first nine, then the inward half is much flatter so the course tests your golfing skills to the full.
When you finish your round, you are greeted with the hospitality of the clubhouse staff. The clubhouse has a shop that stocks all the useful accessories for a great round and also has a pleasant bar/lounge area where meals are served throughout the season - the meals are good as the golf, brilliant!!
If you are thinking of golfing in Scotland or what's more the Highlands, Kingussie Golf Course should be the first on your mind. It's certainly always mine!
I don't think anywhere else in the world will you find a golf course with the amazing scenery, quality of golf and the hospitality that Kingussie golf course provides you with.
