At the time I played the course the old 4th and 13th holes were still in operation, the 2 holes themselves I found were very good holes the 4 being my favourite when you had to hit over trees on a lower level in order to advance the ball a good distance up the fairway. My overall judgement of the course was a good one with my favourite hole being the trademark 16th when you had to hit the perfect teeshot and second shot in order to put yourself in good position for par. It was a very tough hole mainly because of the trees and the small margin of error allowed. I would give the course 8 out of 10 for layout and course condition. The bar/lounge could do with some refurbishment but the lighting and friendly member atmosphere would make any visitor feel at home.
My handicap is 5 and feel this course would test all levels of golfers
