I'm very much new to golf and play Leslie often. I find it a great challenging 9 hole course with plenty to work at with some greens being raised. As for condition, its as well kept as can be and right now there are some work being done for irrigation it looks like. As for atmosphere i found it anything but frosty. The members, players and the people that work there have been nothing but accommodating and welcoming to me and friends. Go give it a try and see for yourself. You wont be disappointed.

A disappointing round with a particularly unfriendly starter. The course was in excellent condition but atmosphere at first tee could be described as frosty at best. Felt like we were invading a private party. I will not be back!

with reference to your comment re above, this has only recently been brought to my attention.
The committe can only apologise to you for what apparently was an unfortunate experience. This I am sure was a rogue situation as we go out of our way as a club to be friendly towards visitors.
There have been changes.

I have played leslie many times and it is small but tricky course. However, this year the greens seriously lacked attention! If i were a member there I would be looking for some sort of compensation for the green fee paid, but I am not.

I have also played at this golf course and i feel that this is a very easy course with hole four the only challenge and the green on the eighth which is rather like the himalayas. A good challange

As a member here at Leslie, I would highly Recommend this course to any golfer if they want a challenge. I am a Fifer born and bread And played every course in fife, and put this course for toughness up with the best.
