A Great Golf Club 5 mins from Liverpool City Centre and just off the East Lancashire Road so close to most places in the North West. Very friendly people and one of the oldest golf clubs in the area & are now looking for new members.

i think that kirkby golf course is to groggy because i went there yestaday and some parts of the fairways is just waterlogged and the greens are too.and on the 3rd hole i had to take a 1 stroke penalty because i hit my ball off the tee and it landed in a bunker just 75 yards away from the pin but when i hit the ball inyo the bunker i saw a big splash of water come out of the bunker.when i got to the bunker my ball was stuck right in the middle of the sand and flooded in a 12-15 inch pool of water.

    Hi,
Have played this course several times over the past few weeks but I also played several times twenty years ago. The course was fairly new then and it is nice to see it has settled down. The course is quite forgiving to the inexperienced golfer [me] and most of the time it is quite difficult to lose your ball. Having said that, most of the holes are very interesting with very strategic traps.
    Regards to all.
