  • An excellent Location

Thank you for recommending this stunning parkland course. In the location where my grandmother used to live there is a splendid mix of English snobbery and challenging holes for the up and coming. Membership will be a delight and very convenient from my home in Faversham

  • Extremely Rude

There are some extremely rude and pompous members in this club. I was given a blank stare when I said 'hello' and 'good morning'. I was playing by myself and there was a group of three in front of me. Two members was behind me complaining that I was playing too slow when it was actually the group in front that was holding me up. I explained the situation to them but they didn't seem to understand. Their attitude and rudeness really disgusts me.
The course itself is what you'd expect for the price (£25). Good length with some interesting slopes. However, the speed of the greens was very very slow.

Straight hitting and positional play is a must. After a gentle start the challenging par 4, 3rd hole will require a long iron or fairway wood to the narrow green after laying up short of the stream? The stream is in range for the longer hitters from both the 3rd and 8th tees.
After closing out the front nine with 3 challenging par 4's, the Par 5's on the back nine offer a respite and opportunity to retrieve some of the dropped shots, but only if your approach play puts the ball into the correct position on the green.
The length of the greens can vary by a couple of clubs so careful clubbing is a must. The facilities, catering and small well-stocked pro shop are excellent.
