An unusual layout dictatded by the envelope of land it exists in within a built up area. Some holes are victim to the terrain, but others are superb. It is a hilly course but very well maintained. A few holes are played blind and only come into themselves when you really are familiar with the lie of the land. Greens are good by any standards. There are several holes that really tempt an ambitious drive and others that caution will temper your enthusiasm - the view from some tees will do that alone. It is a quirky course but has many rewarding and punishing holes. To get the most from it I feel it has to be played more than a few times.
