Mile End is run as a 'family ' business and as such it has always been the policy of the proprietor's that whenever anything is done (whether large or small) it is done to the highest standard. This policy of 'long-term' investment has served us well in the early years of the club and will continue into the future.
Our modern clubhouse caters for the needs of our 600 members and also provides facilities for the numerous visitors and societies that visit each year. We have full bar and catering (including a delicious assortment of home-made dishes) and also full changing and shower facilities for men and ladies.
Future investment by the Proprietors will ensure that Mile End continues to offer the best possible facilities for golfers of all abilities. We firmly believe that Mile End is not only one of the friendliest places to play golf, it also offers the best value for money.

Course Details

The original 9 hole course at Mile End opened for play in June 1992. Construction of an additional 9 holes was fully completed in early 1995 and the opening of the full size 18 hole course took place on May 18th 1996. The course is built on converted farmland and the 150,000 trees that have been planted on the site are now having a noticeable impact on the development of the course. The total length of the full 18 hole course is 6194 yards (par71) for the men and 5370 yards (par72) for the ladies. The course covers over 135 acres, and includes a number of water features, notably the 3rd and 17th (par 3 holes) which both have greens protected by large pools. The longest hole is par 5, 542 yard, 14th, complete with it's two-tiered green.
