Course Details

Course Name: Milnathort Holes: 9 Yardage: 5985 SSS: 68
Undulating inland parkland course with lush fairways and excellent greens, most of the year. Strategically placed copses of trees require accurate tee shots. The course has been made more interesting by the addition of different tees and greens for each hole. It is both a challenging for low an high handicaps. It is also enjoyable to play for both young and old ladies and gents.

to all at mgc, thank you for a very pleasant day at your club last saturday in your open, although i did not do well i enjoyed the course. the green keepers should be congratulated for the standard of the course, greens great, rough well i should have stayed out, only in once. hospitality very good thanks brian and staff. looking forward to seniors open in september. fellow golfer. david thomson (lochgelly)

Very nice 9 hole course - in excellent condition and more than a challenge than it looks.
Members and Clubhouse would benefit from being a bit friendlier to visitors.
Apart from the welcome this is worth a play.

A nice 9 hole course with great views of the surrounding hills. Very little rough so it's hard to lose a ball unless you hit it out of bounds. A good test for all levels of golfer. Practice area and putting green next to large car park, the course is just a 7 iron from the center of Milnathort.

This golf course throws up many different challenges, whether playing off the forward yellow (members) tees or the back white (medal) tees. A naturally draining course keeps it playable when conditions elsewhere prevent other courses from opening. It is well worth a visit as you will be pleasently surprised at the condition of this well tended parkland course.
I am a member of 'The Flying Divot's' golf society, (a group of around 20 or so workmates) who base ourselves at Milnathort Golf Club, with nearly half of us members at the course. So if it's just a day out, or actual entry to the annual 'Milnathort Open', come along, you'll enjoy the experience!

Having played this course I can thoroughly recommend it to anyone old or young! It is a pleasure to play and offers challenges for low to high handicap players, men and women. The course has been well designed and the club are now embarking on a tree planting program to enhanse the course and the Clubhouse is being extended and refurbished which should attract more visitors to the wonderful part of Kinrosshire. To some it may just be a 9 hole course on the map but please pop in and try it . You'll enjoy your day.
