Course Details

Course Name: Monkstown Holes: 18 Yardage: 6202 SSS: 69
It was founded as a nine hole golf course, but has since expanded to 18 holes in 1972. A major re-bunkering programme in the early nineties, plus the introduction of some interesting water features on the back nine, has improved both the challenge and the aesthetics of the course.

  • Awful Course

I hate it, it is the worst course i have ever played, and i have played Mahon! There are no features, it is as if a team of monkeys were allowed tend the greens and it has as much character as my ass.

Great if you are fit for the 5th hole.

A nice course, well maintained and fairly challenging. Some nice views of Cork harbour. Watch out for 'coronary hill', I think it's the fifth.
