I am a member at Morlais Castle and it is a challenging course which has to be played by all.
Bring your new technology here - but unless you are very straight or you have all the shots in your shot making portfolio, you will find this course a very good challenge.
A superb course and one to play when you come to Wales.
We look forward to seeing you.

Quite simply the most under-rated courses in Wales - and yet one of the cheapest to play. Situated in the foothills of the Brecon Beacons National Park, the views from the first fairway are stunning and are a foretaste of the enjoyment to come. Some of the holes look deceptively simple but there is out-of-bounds next to 12 of them and penal rough everywhere you look. Then there's a genuine ruined castle, a massive quarry, a shepherd who comes out to get his sheep off the course most mornings, a fabulous clubhouse and, best of all, some of the friendliest, most down-to-earth people you will ever meet on a golf course. Pure enjoyment and it's all as cheap as chips.

    9. Par 4 - Uphill par 4, good drive to clear the hazards.
    10. Par 4 - Blind Drive, dogleg.
    11. Par 3 - Downhill deceptive for distance.
    12. Par 4 - Blind drive, slight dogleg. Long hole.
    13. Par 4 - Blind Drive - dogleg.
    14. Par 4 - Blind drive.
    15. Par 4 - Blind Drive - very long Par 4.
    16. Par 5 - Massive dogleg, second shot over a quarry unless you're Tiger.
    17. Par 3 - Uphill anything right is in Pant Cemetery.
    18. Par 4 - Blind drive - long hole.
    19. Rest and respite, you need to be a straight long hitter to set up birdies to fast small greens. A course that needs to played more than once to appreciate it.
