Very enjoyable course much improved in the past 2 years. Although
there are easy distances on most holes for a low handicapped player a strong wind can change
the aspects of this course dramatically. At only £12.50 for a round this course must one of the
cheapest in the UK and rank as better than a lot of southern courses charging in excess of £40.

This course is very open and is quite easy although there are one or two tricky holes to contend with. There are very wide fairways and this is an ideal course for the beginner or a high handicapped player. The greens, fairways etc are well maintained and improvements to the course are constantly undergone by the ground staff.
This is an extremely enjoyable course although not as exclusive when compared to local courses which require the payment of green fees. The experienced or a low handicapped golfer may find this course a little dull and may not tax their ability to the limits. Saying this though, a would recommend Mount Oswald to the large majority of golfers.
