Muir of Ord is an interesting golf course with lots of variety. Some holes are flat with sandy fairways surrounded by heather, while others are very hilly with gorse and a few have lush, wet fairways and greens.
There are no truly dramatic holes, however, and the fairways and greens are not always in the best condition. For the average golfer it is a nice course to play, but golfers of a higher standard may find it too easy.
