| Links course with fabulous views over Fistral Beach and the Atlantic. An abundance of bunkers plus the ever-present wind associated with a links course. Springy sandy based turf on most holes making for easy walking and good drainage making the course playable all year round. A challenge for the best of golfers. I'm just back form Cornwall where I played on this course. The view onto the ocean and the beach are amazing, really nice !! The course itself is very good to play, the greens and fairways are in a very good state, so it's a pleasure. As well, the wind makes it very challenging, especially from all the tees. The only "bad comment" would be the lack of indication on the course (info about each hole, directions in the course and the distances to green non existant). But all in all, a very place to play golf.

My wife and myself have played Newquay golf course on many occasions during holidays from Scotland. We find the course both a good challenge to our golf and one which is kept in good golfing condition - especially when one considers that it is located above a windswept beach and open to all that the North Atlantic can through at it.
The clubhouse is located very close to the centre of Newquay and offers ample car parking for golfers. We have always found the staff and members of the club to be friendly, courteous and welcoming to visitors. At the time of writing this review we do not have costs for this year but on all previous occasions we have been delighted with the
charges made for this course.
I am a 12 handicap player and my wife plays off 19.
I recommend Newquay Golf Club to any golfer visiting Cornwall.
