The greens are A1...the best I've played on. They not only offer challenging putts with their contours but are in great condition, well done the greenkeepers!!

This course has played well over winter. The greens are very good and the food at the clubhouse is worth the visit alone.

I agree with the comments of others. It's attractive without being exhausting and the greens were first class. July 1999) Keep straight and you'll be OK. For someone off 17, I managed to accumulate 37 points with playing out of my skin. Give it a try and enjoy the social amenities. A fine clubhouse is a good place to relax after the round.

Easy reach from M11/M25, if you come via Epping don't confuse it with the 9 hole par three at the southern end of the North Weald WW2 airfield, the course is at the Northern end. New course that's split by A414, golfers walk through tunnel so no dodging cars, don't use this as an excuse for not going. Although land in the area is generally flat designers have made good use of contours. Despite newness in excellent condition especially greens, does seem more mature than its years. A fair course for the higher handicap player, neither water nor bunkers are fearsome but thoughtfully placed.
Clubhouse, bar and changing facilities are good but not extensive.

A good easy walking course ideal for society and corporate days. All the par 4's are reachable in two and providing you are a reasonably straight hitter you will always stand a good chance of beating your handicap. Tees and greens excellent.
