I've been a member there for over a year now and will continue to be as long as it's possible. The excellent bar and restaurant service is a credit to the club as well as the quality of the food. The main course itself provides a challenge for all golfers', no matter what handicap. The only fault I have with the course is many of the tee's need repairing or replacing. The club also offers a driving range, nine-hole course and a well-equipped pro shop. I would like to thank the pro, Barry, for the good game in the pro-am.

From the elevated par 5 first tee with trees to the right and left to the long par 4 8th hole a challenge for even the biggest of drivers Oakmere Park offers an enjoyable golfing experience. Recent work on the course has made it even more challenging with the addition of new strategically placed bunkers and sections of gorse that will in time prove to be the last resting place for many a golf ball. With water playing a part on a number of holes there is plenty of variety to test most aspects of your golf game.
The staff are friendly and welcoming and with the advantage of having a full length 9 hole course as well which has 2 tees per hole making an 18 hole course if required Oakmere Park is well worth a visit.

I have played Oakmere 5 times now, each time the course has been in excellent condition (including November and December). It is very easy to locate and a few bargains are to be found in the Pro shop - Give it a go!!

I have played Oakmere recently and where the other local golf courses were closed Oakmere was open and in extremely good condition. I would like to thank the staff and the members for making our party very welcome.
