This course ranks up there with other courses I've played around the world in terms of the greens. Superb condition, so well cared for, tricky to read, pacey and true. A memorable putting experience. The rest of the course great with some tight driving holes, doglegs that make you think and the 18th - take on the green over the water or lay up - a real risk/reward hole with another narrow landing area for position A off the tee. And the staff both in the Pro Shop and in the bar/restaurant and incredibly friendly and helpful.

This is a great course and in the summer some of the fastest greens in hertfordshire. Shows the greenkeepers are good and not just at greenkepping.

In fact I have played Old Fold 5 or 6 times since I posted my comments and each time I have found thecourse to be in excellent condition and well maintained by the staff, and a good challenge. Even with the recent rains, course drainage was such that it was still very playable. The gentlemen in the pro shop were very friendly and helpful. Would visit this location again and encourage others to give it a try.
