Unfortuantely this course will close for the last time on 30th November 2003 as the council has decided to build a motorway through the centre of it.

Open Golf Centre is an average course with few obstructions. It is good for practising your driving game as it does play long off the back tees. You should avoid playing the small new 9. There is not worse 9 holes in the Dublin area.

Cold Winters is a club without a course. It uses The Open Golf Centre which is pay and play. As courses go The Open Golf Centre is no more than an average course with no trouble of the tees and a few bunkers around the greens. Mildly entertaining if they let you play the original 18. They've added another 9 holes on which you play in conjunction with one of the old 9's. This new 9 is a terrible stretch of par 3 golf. People do mix this up with St. Margaret's which is a championship course. Open Golf Centre was a Richard Branson idea.
