very pleasing to the eye, challenging, varied, plenty of hazards - all you could want from a parkland course.

This has to be one of the best kept secrets in the world of golf. Tranquil setting, stunning English countryside and some superb holes of golf. It has everything, water, trees, long drives and a friendly clubhouse with good food. Well worth a visit.

I agree wholeheartedly with the others reviewers' comments - this is a super course. I played it on a weekday for £11! (with a 2-fore-1 voucher). Lovely layout, nice bouncy fairways, championship greens, very well looked after, plenty of variety, delightful mature woodland and even beguiling trees stripped of their bark....a must-play!

Beautifully maintained course in a magnificent rolling countryside setting - probably the best I've played in England. Demanding for good players without being inaccessible for high handicappers.
Terrific value and very welcoming to non-members. Good clubhouse and food.

One of the nicest courses I've played. Good length on holes, excellent setting, great greens and traps. As it matures it will be one of the courses to play in England. Nice to play a course that has American course qualities about it with mature landscaping and not just a mowed down cow pasture.
