Painswick Golf Club is presents the new and interesting challenges today as it has done for the last 100 years. One can enjoy playing golf in this which offers a lot of natural features. The club holds regular competitions and other Social events, for the individual, a pair or a team. The club has good relationships with other clubs in the area and there are many inter club, league competitions through out the seasons.

I have been a member of Painswick GC for the last 4 years and this has to be on of the few courses in Gloucestershire that is open all year round (apart from snow!) and does not ever contemplate using temporary greens. The greenkeeper is to be commended on his work throughout the year on the quality of greens kept.
Painswick is not a long course, but is teaches you to be accurate, both in club selection and course management. The benefits of playing week in week out here certainly help when playing other courses.
The clubhouse is very friendly, with good bar food and a good social section.
