Peterstone has become a very good course in a short space of time. The fairways and greens have improved dramatically since I last played the course. It is a flat course, so it's easy walking for all. It helps to be a straight hitter as water lines quite a few of the well-cut fairways. The greens are large and very well kept. The wildlife throughout the course is an added bonus. The clubhouse is superb, with a patio area offering good views of the 1st fairway and 18th green. All in all a good course for beginners and experienced golfers alike.

I regularly play on Peterstone lakes for the past year and it has had dramatic changes made to it. All for the better. There are many new additions to the course, which make it increasingly challenging. The lakes are now topped up by the Ebbw River so the reins don't become stagnant in the summer. Allot of the poorly placed bunkers have been removed so the course is much better to play on. The only problem that I can see is that the trolleys and buggys are let out in the wet so it can become a bit muddy.

Peterstone Lakes Golf Club has recently undergone huge change, both on and off the course. The Club has now been purchased and is run as a family business. The course has been greatly improved by incorporating the man made lake into a feature on more holes, and the addition of all year round grass tees. The greens are of good quality and true with large putting surfaces. The Club House is outstanding with a friendly atmosphere and quality food at a low cost. The newly built terrace offers great views over the course. When aged over the next year, this course will be a great day out.

Not a bad Golf course but it is very flat with water on most holes. Could be a nice course to play on if they cut it once in a while. The Clubhouse has average facilities. Overall I would give it an average 5 out of 10.

A nice course, flat and an easy walk, although being near the sea wall, I am sure when the wind blows it could be hard work. The front nine is relatively easy, but the back nine becomes tighter and longer and is a good test. Good club house, with good inexpensive food.
