All i can say is i have only played this course once and it is a gem that should be known more widely across the country.The green staff must put hours of hard work into this course because it is in wonderful condition.

Its a credit to all who work at the this golf club such a pleasure playing at this course. I would say that this is one of the best golf courses in Yorkshire. I will be back (as Arnie would say).

Having played this course on numerous occasions I can heartily reccomend giving it a try when visiting historic York. Although not exceptionally long the course has many other defences, not least its greens, which are always in excellent condition and will offer you few straight putts during your round. A freindly atmosphere and very good facilities make for an enjoyable day.
