I had the pleasure of playing prestonfield a fortnight ago. This has to be one of golfs gems. It is hard to believe you are a stones throw from the centre of Edinburgh. The course was in remarkable condition, the views of Arthurs seat stunning, and the staff helpful. The addition of a new clubhouse adds to the overall experience. The fact I had a nett 65 on the day probably did no harm, but cannot recommend it highly enough in its price bracket.

I had the pleasure of playing Prestonfield GC at the end of summer 04. I can not praise it highly enough. The scenery was spectacular.The golf course well designed and in great condition, and the clubhouse facilities and catering in a class above any other course in this price bracket. Play it if you get the chance!!

I was a jr. member at prestonfield and have not played there since 1949. Is it still a private course? I will be in Edinburgh in August, do you think I could get to play a round then.

Hi, my name is John Macfarlane and I think Prestonfield Golf Club has something to offer everyone. The course is well maintained with wonderful views of HOLYROOD PARK and AURTHER'S SEAT. I visit the course regularly and enjoy playing it -after all I am the club's Pro! Come and play!
