I played a friendly 4 ball with some mates the other day at Pryors Hayes. The course was in superb condition for the time of year. Greens were true and as good as i've played all year. A warm friendly atmosphere greeted me when I went and had my after round wind down in the bar. Its just a shame my golf didn't reflect the quality of the course.

Three days ago I played this course for the first time - we started at 9.30am on a Sunday morning in thick fog, freezing temperatures, up to our ankles in boggy ground and playing only temporary greens. That said we had a wonderful few hours on the course and it has left my very excited about playing it again in spring/summer. The greens looked fantastic with rolling contours that made your mouth water and some water holes that will no doubt have me reaching for my lake balls. Highly recommended if you enjoy the Cheshire countryside.
