I have played this course many times while I served at Cottesmore, and enjoyed it very much, and I'd like to play it again if possible with 3 of my fellow golfers.

The signature hole for the course is the par 5 2nd. The long carry from the tee lands the ball onto a 20-yard wide fairway. The second shot is between new mounding either side of the fairway. The shot is to a fairly wide fairway, which curves to the right and downhill. The third shot, which is a downhill stance, plays to a long narrow undulating green that has a sharp drop off from the back. The brave-hearted can try it in two shots, but be very accurate.
The beauty of Cottesmore is its secluded and private situation. A private club with only 200 members and limited access guarantees a quiet round of golf. I think I saw no more than 6 other players on both of my rounds.
