I have played Reddish Vale Golf Club and caddied for members of Reddish Vale Golf Club hundreds of times! It is truly the best golf course in the North West of England - or was when I left in 1985. My father was Roy Gleaves who was captain of the club in the eighties. I now live near Lytham St. Annes - probably one of the finest golf courses in the country - but still the memories as a young lad playing at Reddish and the people I used to meet as a caddie made all the difference. If it is all right with Mr. Captain, Mr. President and Mr. Secretary, I would love to come and have a meal at Reddish Vale with my wife, daughters, mother and brother and family if possible - after all my father's ashes are spread over the 18th green - please reply yes or no!

I have played Reddish Vale Golf Course on two occasions, with my brother who was a Member there. I found the course to be in reasonable condition. The greens should be made a lot faster, other than that, I enjoyed playing Reddish Vale. I am a 12 handicapper.
