What a coarse ,Very tough coarse good for the big hiters as a lot of very long holes , This is as close to an american coarse ive played ,perfect greens perfect fairways ,can see why a lot a big tournaments are played here ,very flat so hard to read the distances to greens but thats a minor flaw, play this course if you like American style golf as they are few and far between in scotland ,Usually stuck with long rough and horrible hilly coarses , this coarse is a must!

I think the course is very tough and challenging, there are several par 4's, which are extremely dangerous. Congratulations must go to the grass cutter John Dale. He is also a very skilled golfer.

Thanks for showing me the great tradition of hospitality, that Scotland is famous for during my recent visit to the club. It was my first visit back to Renfrew, for some years, but the course was great, and the holes challenging.

Renfrew Golf Club is probably one of the best courses that I have ever played, especially hole number 13, that dogleg to the right is just so good. Please tell them that their bar staff are the nicest that I have found. Gavin Malloch, the clubmaster, is the staff member that I am talking about. Together the course and the staff gave me a great round and I will definitely be coming back.
