I played last Friday afternoon with a friend and we had an excellent afternoon's golf. The course was in pretty good nick considering the rain we have had - there were only a couple of temporary greens. Excellent value for the £15 green fee. If it was busy this really would be slow. We were held up by a four ball that clearly had no idea about etiquette and we were advised how to get ahead of them by missing one hole. Only problem was, the advice came from a five-ball (seriously!). Probably not enough of a challenge for low handicappers, but very user-friendly and don't miss the all day breakfast in the Pavilion 'club house'.
