The 'Old Course' is a hidden gem that should not be missed if you are travelling in the Southeast corner of Ireland. It is the perfect course to visit before tackling the more famous links courses on the West Coast. Many greens are situated in depressions making club selection difficult. I played the course on a relatively calm day and still found it challenging. The club secretary was extremely accomodating and he even allowed me to tee off prior to the women on ladies day.

It's true. Rosslare GC is a hidden gem, it's mint. It's a seaside links that's as good as any other in Ireland and not overrun by tourist golfers. The rough's been cut back a bit so at least you can generally find your ball. The greens are moderate/quick, but allot are pretty flat, aim at the hole and putt. Well worth the money too.
If you're in the region or travelling to Rosslare Harbour make this your first stop, only 6 miles from the terminal.

The Old Course at Rosslare is superb. Simply the best. Forget Mount Juliet and The K Club, this is a real golf test. The wind and natural contours of the course make it a truly enjoyable game of golf. The best course I have ever played.
