Course Details

Course Name: Royal Tarlair Holes: 18 Yardage: 5866 SSS: 68
A clifftop parkland course which h represents a challenge for the more serious golfer. There are two main features, the first being the famous 13th hole 'Clivet' a hole every golfer should experience. This exhilarating hole offers the golfer the opportunity to test their nerve and resolve to the limit, as well as providing a scenic hole which will remain with you for years to come. The second feature is the quality of the greens at Tarlair, the envy of most clubs in the area.

A great days golf with 13th 'clivet' the best golf hole I have ever played. I suppose it seems that way because I slapped one right into the heart of the green into a fair breeze. The other holes on the course make a nice varied card in distance. Very cheap, good golf.

    1st and 2nd September
Great course surrounded by a fantastic scenary. The greens and fairways were top class, and the 13th hole, "Clivet", was even more magnificent than I had dreamt of. When the wind gusted at its most, it took my full concentration to hang in there. Many enjoying holes, a few nice birdies, both days took us to the cosy 19th for a sum up, over a couple of bitters and a wee snack bite. I'll be back! On behalf of myself and the golf mad Roenning family.

Played on a special offer for a days golf including food, superb value for money. Weather was disappointing on Monday 1st May but all four of us Glos golfers enjoyed the day. 'WE SHALL RETURN', hopefully when the weather can better support our 'wimpish' English bodies. Many thanks to all, especially the caterer, for making our trip a good one. See you next year.
