Rudding Park's unique appeal is its location. Set in 300 acres of outstanding Yorkshire countryside, consistent development and investment have transformed the Grade I listed country house (Regency architecture) and estate into an unrivalled hotel, golf and conference resort.
Rudding Park House was opened as a conference and banqueting centre in 1987. The 18 hole golf course was opened in 1995, a development which was followed two years later by a 50 bedroom Hotel adjacent to the House, making Rudding Park Yorkshire's premier hotel, golf and conference resort.
The bedrooms in the Rudding Park Hotel offer modern conveniences in a setting where the original character of the architecture has been maintained. The Clocktower Bar and Restaurant, originally part of the old coaching yard, serve breakfast, lunch and dinner in a relaxed and informal setting. Polished oak floors, comfortable sofas and deep armchairs combine here with more contemporary designs to provide a most relaxing atmosphere. The restaurant offers a range of classic and contemporary dishes while a choice of delicious sandwiches and snacks are available in the Clocktower Bar. All facilities are open to the public.

Rudding Park is a very enjoyable, somewhat lengthy local course. This well kept course is peppered with rolling, links-style fairways. There is a monster par 4 hole on the front 9 and a few birdie holes on the back. The hills will allow and the golfer a handsome roll on drive if playing a draw. In my opinion, the course's signature hole is the wooded par 3 on the back nine. The trees surrounding the hole simply enhance the experience.
