great golf, course i am actually going tomorrow . really good for novice but not so good for good players.

Totally agree: both courses are more than adequate to test your skills while being reasonably priced. They may not be the best maintained but are great VFM and I've alwasy found the staff fine.

I think that says much about the elitist attitude that put many people off golf altogether; and the reason many people scorn me for playing.
Actually, Ruxley and its sister course, Cray Valley, do have rough greens in the winter and little in the way of rough but are otherwise well maintained and the facilities adequate for the casual and/or beginner golfer. Relatively short and with mostly wide greens but certainly provides a few interesting challenges even to mid-handicappers. More than anything, I certainly have never had any problem with the friendly staff, who are always flexible and ready to oblige.

not v. well maintained. Staff can hardly read or write and the service they give is no better.To sum up, this is a course for council estate people and tits with all the gear who cannot play. Steer clear!

Ruxley Park is a great golf course with friendly and helpful staff who give you decent advise on products and deals. I believe that the course is now in near perfect condition great designing ideas have made this course exciting and annoying to play which, is why I like this course so much. Food is good. A great day out! 9/10!
