I played this course on 3 occasions in the Summer of 2001 and loved it. The setting is certainly impressive and the course is laid out over a huge area of rolling parkland. It's hard to believe you are in Greater London, as there's no traffic noise. The course is a hard walk, making the already difficult closing holes even harder but there are buggies available for the less athletic! For me this is as good a course of the 30 or so I have
played inside the M25 (ok I haven't played Walton Heath but its the equal of the RAC or Moor Park) and as you can even use your 2-fore-1 vouchers its a bargain!

Great course, well planned and wonderful 16th. Even better 19th. Really enjoyed my stay and would recommend anyone to try it. I CANNOT THINK OF A BETTER GOLFING WEEKEND IN THE WHOLE OF THE SOUTH EAST

I have played this course twice now. The first was over a year ago, and was the most depressing round I had played. I managed to lose balls even in the light rough!
My second round was somewhat better! The first hole is a reasonable par 4 and involved a dogleg right and a second shot to a slightly elevated green. If the ball doesn't get caught in anything but the lightest rough (anything heavier and you can't find it!), then the round is enjoyable and a good test of golf.
The hotel facilities are very good and the pro shop staff are courteous and helpful. The greens were in the process of
being renovated somewhat when I last played, and should be in very good condition now.
All in all a good day out for the mid to low handicapper.
