Now an 18 hole course, half open fairways and the remainder exciting narrow valleys, rocky outcrops and scrub land. Thoroughly enjoyable.

Don’t let the fact that this course is only 12 holes and 5417 yards fool you! The course is crafted in such a way that when the most challenging holes destroy you, you are immediately starting to plan your second attack and relishing the second attempt (not that it will do you any good)! Chipping up a small cliff onto an elevated blind green is just one of the delights that await you. Plenty of elevated tees and greens, the course feels much longer than the card indicates and getting your celebrated par for the average Sunday golfer is no mean feat. Weekdays should see few cues so although as a rule we don’t like slow play If nobody is behind you, relax and enjoy the views and relish every minuet. The clubhouse serves excellent food and cold beer! What more do you need?

This must be the most friendly golf club in the area nothing is to much trouble. It is only 12 holes long but 12 of the most testing holes for anyone. I would recommend Silverdale to all standard of golfer and when you have come in from the golf you have just got to try the food and drink in the clubhouse a great place for a days golf.
