Sitting between the 3 courses, each of 9 holes, the River is not long so keep driver in the bag until the par 5 8th.
Shot selection and water features on this 9 are critical and good course management will get you a good score. Negociate the first 2 holes with par and your birdie opportunities now kick in.
The 175 yard par 3 3rd is a straight forward hole and should get a birdie or even par if you miss the green. The 4th is a dog leg right and easy to get near the pin with a 7 iron second shot. Watch the green for Augusta like breaks!. A short 120yard par 3 is next and is protected by bunkers, stream and woods at the back. The 6th requires a straight drive, as to the right is a pond and too far left and you approach this fast small green over a bunker and mound. Best approach is a chip and run as the green dosn,t hold too well and runs away at the back.
The 310 yard par 4 7th is a birdie chance as the slight dog leg right brings in range the green from the tee on a still day. Next the par 5 510 yard 8th. On a good day reachable in 2 and a very receptable green in a bowel for birdie chance. On a bad day every club in the bag just to get par as it faces prevailing wind.
The last hole, a par 3 175 yard shot over water with OOB at the back, bunkers and of course a large oak tree between you and the green makes this last hole my favourite on the course. Nail the iron shot and it leaves you wanting more. Anything other than a good tee shot and its a round recker. Enjoy!

Nice, well kept golf course. Definitely playing on the short side, but you have to be very careful about the shot selection. Since I played in a company event, I do not know the greenfee and cannot compare the costs to the quality of the course.
