Slinfold is a pleasant course with a particularly friendly atmosphere in the pro's shop and clubhouse. Signature holes are the 3rd - a difficult dog leg with a testing 2nd shot to a sloping green with a wide, deep ditch in front. The 5th tempts you to cut the corner on the dog leg - with very satisfying results for a well placed shot. The 10th tee is over water and the 18th is a testing par 5 that only the biggest hitters can hope to birdie. If you visit Slinfold with a Telegraph Golf Network card, green fees are an exceptional 17.50 for a full days golf.
