The opening hole or two hides this very reasonably priced heathland course. Members and staff of the club were extremely friendly and the fish & chips we had down the road after the game were truly gorgeous. The ProShop is an Aladin's cave. Recommended.

South Moor, although not the longest, is a great test of golf. If you stray the gorse will ensure you are punished.
The course is well maintained and the greens are in excellent condition.
If you are a high handicapper take plenty of balls.
WELL WORTH A VISIT!

The course is a tough testing moorland course and although not long if you stray from the FAIRWAY you can find even a bogey difficult. Well-maintained course, with a good variety of holes, all surrounded by moorland and mature trees. The clubhouse is friendly and currently undergoing improvement. The pro is very accommodating and a new shop is due to be opened by end of April 2000.GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY AND A GOOD TEST OF GOLF.
