I played this course on 27/10/97. Welcome was friendly. Being early in the morning of a weekday, I would have expected it to be less crowded. The course has a bit of everything: interesting, challenging holes (number 2 over river Glen is rather dramatic) and the odd boring wall to wall fairway. My favourite was number 9, a par 3 with SI 18, green protected by a small pond where I managed to plop my ball!. Luckily, rods are provided to scoop out trespassing balls. I did not like to see fallen leaves on many of the greens(number 16 was a bad one for this). I found the green fee of 24 pounds a bit expensive.
