Short in yardage, but don't let this deceive you. The green are as good as any, the general condition is excellent a perfect course on which to cut ones golfing teeth. I took my 7 yr old on his first 18 holes and it was ideal and a good oppotunity to sharpen my game. A true course in every respect. The staff @ the club were very friendly and helpful making our visit complete.

During a recent family reunion in Cornwall, a group of 7 of us played the Church Course in April 00. This is a golf course, which in every way would be hard to beat. So often in the past we have been subjected to 18 holes that have been 'shoe-horned' into a finite, often very limited acreage, with many undistinguished not dissimilar 'up and down' holes. Not so here. The course encompasses many square miles, and every advantage has been taken of the beautiful natural topography. As they are so individualistic, no two holes can possibly be mistakenly identified, and more than one seaside hamlet is visited en route. The views are fantastic, as is the 'Himalayan' bunker, which guards the 6th green; this monster must vie for the title of the largest natural sand bunker in the world! 'Gook' Champion aged 80+ and still playing off a handicap of 10,would be the caddy to engage here, if an 8 shot advantage is sought.
