Never seems to stop raining but Stand Golf Club usually open when others waterlogged and closed.
Food good too.

Just played Stand in a NWMGA comp. My 1st visit, wont be my last. What a fantastic course, rolling fairways & fabulous greens. If you've never played it your missing playing a hidden jewel.

In my opinion, one of the best golf courses in the whole of the northwest of England. The greens are kept in superb condition.

My friend and I played on your magnificently well maintained course on Friday 15/09/00,the course and all aspects of the club were tremendous.
Thanks to sky pen interactive tv we were able to play this splendid course , due to very strict procedures we will not have the opportunity to play the course again which has been a childhood dream as we grew up in the area. Thanks again for your hospitality.
