Course Name: Studley Wood Holes: 18 Yardage: 6722 SSS: 73
Designed by Simon Gidman this parkland course set in mature woodland. The course belies its age, built in 1996 but plays as if its been around for a lot longer. Four par 3', 2 with lakes in front, 5 par 5's and 9 par 4's, all adding up to a great test of golf.

The course is owned by a golf professional, so you can imagine the alterations an additions such as lakes and bunkers are regularly being undertaken to improve as already impressive course. In total there are 12 lakes, 30 bunkers and thousands of trees on the course.

Although this course was only opened in 1996, you would not think so. It has been build around existing woodland (an old deer park) - you would think it had been there decades. The clubhouse is very inviting - casual friendly atmosphere. In my opinion Studley Wood has 'got it right'. Give it a visit.
