Swarland Hall Golf Club is a proprietary club with a membership of approximately 400 of which about a third are Ladies. Both sexes have equal rights within the club.
The club was founded in 1993 and in addition to our 18 hole course we have a very well appointed clubhouse with a large bar area and separate dining room offering bar meals and full a la carte menu, respectively. The pro shop is fully stocked, buggy and trolley hire are available. The club professionals, David Fletcher and his daughter Linzi are both available to give lessons to members and visitors.
Directions
Situated in the village of Swarland, one mile west of the A1 trunk road and 8 miles south of Alnwick. Comprehensively signposted from the A1 by brown tourist signs.

Parkland course set within some mature woodland. The fairways are undulating but with out any exclusive steep inclines. Many of the holes enjoy spectacular views.

The course is now known as Percy Wood Golf Club.
There have been many changes over the last few years, improved drainage, new/improved bunkers, improved greens etc. The improvements will continue over the winter period.

Swarland is a very good course offering plenty of challenge. It provides a quality and friendly service and is highly professional and very well run. Worth a round in any golfers book.

beautiful setting in the simonside hills,i played there about ten times last year...fairways could be better,when we were there,the daisys on the fairways were a problem...and it was fairly damp every time we played...but get the drainage sorted out,and it would be a very very good course. its a beautiful part of the country

played there last year and the daiseys realy spoiled are game the fairways were coverd with them , but were going back as it might have been a one of , we will give it another chance then if its not improved we will not be going back next year , st t golf society 2 weeks time
