The course is now known as Percy Wood Golf Club.
There have been many changes over the last few years, improved drainage, new/improved bunkers, improved greens etc. The improvements will continue over the winter period.

Swarland is a very good course offering plenty of challenge. It provides a quality and friendly service and is highly professional and very well run. Worth a round in any golfers book.

beautiful setting in the simonside hills,i played there about ten times last year...fairways could be better, when we were there, the daisys on the fairways were a problem...and it was fairly damp every time we played...but get the drainage sorted out,and it would be a very very good course. its a beautiful part of the country
