I am a member of Tadmarton Heath Golf Club, and play off 6.
There is no doubt in my mind that Tadmarton Heath Golf Club is the best golf club in the area. If visiting it in the winter, you will be very surprised with the condition of the course, the greens are always fabulous and really fast (I can count on my right hand how many times I have ever played on temporaries during my 4 year membership). If visiting it in the summer, you will find a golf course that doesn't play very long, but is surprisingly easy to lose shots on without realising it, as the greens are all very small, and there are many subtleties of the land that dictate where you need to aim your approaches.
Most visitors remember the short 7th hole when visiting, a short (130 yards) par three over a little stream that is almost seething with trout that are bread there to be let into the fishing lake just below. This hole is, without doubt, picturesque, but there are many other wonderful holes on a course that golfers of any standard will enjoy playing.
