Tall Pines Golf Club has just celebrated its 10th birthday. During its relatively short lifetime it has seen many changes, each an improvement. The pro-shop is well stocked and the Professional and his staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Refreshments in the clubhouse are excellent and well priced. You are guaranteed a warm welcome.
Practice facilities are more than adequate. You can practice full shots off of grass with anything up to a six iron; you'll have to go to the practice net to hit anything longer. The course itself is well presented. Two or three of the tees reflect the courses age and need attention; the rest are good. The fairways are well manicured and in better condition than one or two of the more established courses I have played this year. Greens are well protected, receptive to a well struck shot all year round and roll well.
To conclude, Tall Pines represents good value for money for golfers of all abilities, which is why individual golfers and societies return year after year. Holes 10, 11, 12 and 14 are as aesthetically pleasing and difficult as any hole on any course I have played. The course is a very good test of golf now. In 15 years it'll be great.
