All golfers need to build up their confidence. Tarbat is the ideal course for this, as you can gain birdies and pars (after a struggle), and then face the sterner tests of Royal Dornoch, Tain, Brora and Glospie with optimism. Alternatively if you have been mauled by one of the above-named courses here you can recover and recapture your true form. I write from bitter/sweet personal experience!

Tarbat is set in a lovely East Coast Village facing West with a superb views of the Hills over Sutherland. It's a tricky 9 hole course which looks deceptive. Greens superb. Well managed 9-hole course very much worth a visit as we did.
