I have just been invited to the Oxfordshire by a current member, for the second time, this time I tried not to show my excitement for the up and coming day, which I will spend in total ore of this great course. This time however, I have been able to invite a few friends along to join me in which, I know, will be a great days golf!!
How do I know? The course is always immaculate, that reminds me to tell the other parties that the 1st tee is not the practise putting green!!?
The day ticket will take us through a morning and afternoon of the most testing golf you'll find anywhere within the UK. The prospect of playing this course will carry me through the working week on a wave. Regards

I've played the Oxfordshire as a member and green feer and it is truly an awesome challenge, particularly off the back tees and in summer.
The course is beautifully manicured and has clear definition between fairways, first cut of rough and then rough. The real rough has this pampas like grass, wispy and long, which strangles your club during play. The greens are always superb and are USGA specification as are the tees.
Built in 1991 it appears to have been around for a lot longer than that. The clubhouse is spectacular and the Japanese bath is a must to soak away the aches and pains inflicted by the 7,000+ yard course. Wind can play havoc. Serious strategy required to make any reasonable score.
A Rees-Jones designed course with lots of mounding and excellent use of bunkers and water hazards.
    Try it.
You will not be disappointed. Excellent restaurant facilities.
