Europe Golf courses reviews Michael Pearson 05/01
Michael Pearson wrote on: May 1, 2001
The Course is a pleasant 9 hole course (the 18th a separate tenth green next to the club house). It is situated by the banks of the River Tyne and is therefore practically flat. The tree-lined fairways are a good test for all handicaps, and all players, both young and old. Straight hitting is well rewarded. 3/05/2001 the fairways are remarkably dry after all the wet weather and the ten greens are in quite excellent condition. A credit to the green keepers! The licensed clubhouse is very friendly and the meals are excellent value for money. The club professional is now Ian Waugh a PGA qualified coach.
