Wanstead Golf Club stands in the grounds of what was until its destruction in 1824 one of the most famous and luxurious stately homes of the 18th century.
At A406 / A12 junction (Redbridge roundabout), take A12 towards London. Turn left at first set of traffic lights into St Mary's Avenue. At end of road take 2nd left. Clubhouse is 50 yards on right.

|Established in 1893 the course has developed from the initial James Braid design to incorporate later features by renowned architects Messrs Colt, MacKenzie and Allison. Today Wanstead presents a fair golfing challenge over an interesting 6000 yard, par 69 course.
