Warley woods 9 hole pay and play golf course is wonderful for the beginner.
The course is slightly short and most holes (all but hole 1 and 5) are straight and not too challenging.
The greens are not the best in the area but with most pay and play courses a bit of bad weather and the greens are covered in sand for the next week or so.
Overall warley 9 hole is fair but could be better... go and play to find out yourself.

Wonderful for the beginner. Some holes are a real test whilst others really make you feel you can play good golf. I'm sticking to Warley for a while!

I've enjoyed myself at the course; it is ideal for a golfer of my ability (lack of)

I love the course and have been a member for four years. My Dad and I play this golf club every Sunday. I play for the 17-24's and love competing at other courses. It is a good winter course and holds the rain up. The greens are fantastic and I would advise you to play there.

For a municipal, this course is very well kept. The greens are not the greatest but are not the worst either. I started playing the game 1-year ago and have used this course to learn the game.

A good course to start on for beginners. Well set out and challenging in wet conditions, with unpredictable wind and green conditions. A nice club which is well worth a visit.
