Wentworth is one of Britain's top courses. It is home to the PGA European Tour and host to Volvo PGA Championship. All the courses are parkland type and as might be expected the highest standards are maintained throughout.

Despite the awesome reputation of Wentworth being on of the UK's premier golf clubs, hosting such tournaments as the Volvo PGA and the World Matchplay, I found the whole experience of playing here worth every penny of the £190 green fee (the highest green fee in the UK). I even managed a birdie on the 7th, the highlight of my round.
It was an honour to tread the same turf as my heroes, and walking up to the green on the 18th was an experience to live long in the memory. The drive on the first can be quite intimidating though, as the starter switches the traffic lights to red. This course was in fantastic condition and had the best greens I'd ever played on.
I lost my mobile phone (switched off, of course!) on the third hole, and reported it to the marshall. I was flabbergasted to hear my name called out in the bar afterwards, and the phone returned to me. 10 out of 10 for Customer Service and hats off to all at Wentworth.
